It looks like bad news is coming for Intel’s next generation Core, Raptor Lake. The company must increase its prices significantly.

According to Amazon UK screenshots posted by @momomo_us on Twitter the prices of the Core 13the generation are more expensive than Core 12the generation. For example, the Core Core i9-13900KF is listed at £750.12, or almost US$815 compared to £679,679 for the Core i9-12900K. The latter, however, is currently being offered at £608.99. We have the same observation for the Core i7-13700K which is listed at £547.22, which is much more substantial than the £409.88 for the Core i7-12700K.

To this is added
- A Core i7-13700KF is expected at £516.58 versus £396.40 for the Core i7-12700KF.
- And a Core i5-13600KF at £349.75 compared to £272.99 for the Core i5-12600KF.
As a result, you might expect a price increase of around £80-£140 depending on the reference. If these prices are confirmed in October during the official launch, these price increases are not negligible.
